Overview
In a dynamic landscape where Black women are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the nation, yet face significant underfunding and income disparities, the Foundation for Black Entrepreneurship (FBE), our nonprofit arm at Sistahbiz, takes resolute steps to bridge this gap.
We champion equity in entrepreneurship and empower Black women with free access to our business development programs and resources, aimed at catalyzing impactful change and fostering racial equity in entrepreneurship.
Empowering Through Business Transformation
FBE's initiatives are designed to empower Black women entrepreneurs to evolve into resilient business leaders, adept sales strategists, and pioneering trailblazers. These programs, delivered with no cost to participants, are fortified with technical assistance and emergency grant provisions. With a consistently full waitlist, the FBE programs enable transformative growth for both individuals and the community at large.
Free Coaching Sessions
Our nonprofit partnerships and sponsorships empower us to deliver hundreds of complimentary coaching sessions annually. Drawing from a track record of over a thousand coaching calls since 2019, Sistahbiz coaches and industry experts offer personalized, 45-minute one-on-one sessions.
These sessions yield:
- Clear vision, focused goals, and renewed clarity
- Skill amplification across business design, marketing, sales, and operations
- Tangible outcomes through actionable strategies
- Accountable progress, driving transformative results
- Increased readiness for access to capital, growth and scale
Bootcamps
Experience the prowess of our 4-week Bootcamps – a convergence of intensive workshops, expert guidance, group coaching, and peer feedback. These transformative sessions convene for 2.5 hours weekly and cater to various crucial aspects of business growth.
BUSINESS DESIGN
March ushers in this Bootcamp, where aspiring and established entrepreneurs lay the foundational groundwork that fuels sales and operational prowess. Graduates emerge with a strategic customer avatar, a compelling product menu, a resonating value proposition, and the bedrock of a magnetic brand.
ONLINE SALES FUNNEL
In May, product and service-based enterprises converge to master digital marketing strategies and sales funnels. Attendees refine campaigns, boost traffic, and achieve sales closures through methodical planning and execution.
BACK OFFICE
Held each September, this Bootcamp streamlines operations, compliance, IT, and financial systems. Tangible progress is the cornerstone as participants sprint towards optimizing documents, files, resources, technology, and space, saving invaluable time and resources.
Free Business Cohort Program
Cohorts usher in a profound sense of camaraderie and shared goals, bolstered by the collective pursuit of success. Our credit repair, accounting, and technical support services further enrich the experience for two distinct cohort tracks:
RETAIL-BASED SUCCESS
Over nine months, twelve entrepreneurs collaborate to design a wholesale program, craft compelling pitches, refine labels, packaging, and secure impactful retail deals. A roadmap from bootstrapping to strategic expansion.
SERVICE-BASED SUCCESS
Over eight transformative cohort sessions, ten entrepreneurs undergo a metamorphosis from sole operators to power players. Consultants, coaches, and service providers gain the tools to attract leads, design client processes, and attain government certifications for lucrative contracts.
Membership + Event Scholarships
Through dedicated partnerships, our nonprofit arm extends invaluable scholarships to enriching events and memberships, catalyzing access and growth for Black women entrepreneurs:
- GOAL DIGGER EVENT: Dozens of annual scholarships bring the Goal Digger Retreat within reach, a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and elevate business ventures.
- SISTAHBIZ MEMBERSHIP: With generosity from our funders and sponsors, the Sistahbiz online platform and membership experience opens its doors to countless entrepreneurs, facilitating continuous growth and engagement.
Technical Assistance Clinic
Fueled by the support of our philanthropic partners, we channel substantial resources to deliver a range of high-value services, orchestrated in collaboration with BIPOC third-party vendors. These services include tax preparation, QuickBooks setup, website design, SEO support, virtual assistance, and project management, fortifying the entrepreneurial journey for Black women entrepreneurs.

Through strategic partnerships and unwavering dedication, we are lighting the path towards a future of limitless possibilities for Black women entrepreneurs.
