Firing people is not easy, either emotionally or legally. While HR experts often prepare you to manage compliance-related issues and tough conversations regarding staff terminations, there isn’t often a space, especially for Black women CEO’s,  to talk through the emotional toll and stress that comes with terminating contractors, clients or employees. In this month’s Black Girl Therapy session, we’re going to host an open discussion and hold space for this very real scenario that many of us not only encounter frequently, but may carry wounds from that need healing.
